Vincent LaRusso
Vincent LaRusso is the writer, producer and star of the motion pictures “Streets of Darkness” and “Just a Chance.” Vincent was born and raised in New York. He was inspired to write the screenplay for “Just a Chance” which is based on a true story regarding his childhood friend “Danny” who ruined his life due to gang violence and drugs.
“JUST A CHANCE” is driven by Vincent LaRusso’s powerful performance as Danny. Mr. LaRusso’s performance earned him a Best Actor award in the Miami International Drug Film Festival.” – Movieguide.
Vincent was able to obtain a nationwide Blockbuster Video distribution deal for “Just a Chance” which was a highly successful VHS staple in the mid-’90s. This success then enabled Vincent to write, produce and star in the full-length feature film “Streets of Darkness” which is the sequel to “Just a Chance.” Vincent decided to digitize and remaster both movies with a new musical score for a 2023 release. He then obtained a worldwide SRS Cinema distribution deal. Both movies will be rolled-out by SRS Cinema worldwide on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Streaming on major platforms in 2023.
Vincent graduated from Liberty University with his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. He was selected and inducted into the “National Society of Collegiate Scholars” Honor Society with a 4.0 GPA. NSCS is the nation's premier collegiate honor society. Notable NSCS distinguished honorary members include former President Jimmy Carter, U.S. Ambassador Dr. Robin Renee Sanders, the late Senator John McCain, and former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala. Vincent was also selected for the prestigious “NSCS New Member Award” out of thousands of candidates, due to a dynamic paper he wrote.
When he wrote “Just a Chance” and “Streets of Darkness” his intent was to send a strong message regarding the dangers of this dark and violent underworld of gangs, mafia and drugs. Vincent definitely delivers on this message, which is a powerful exploration and dark journey. He is currently writing another screenplay and in pre-production development regarding his next powerful story. When Vincent is not working, his hobbies include traveling, weight-lifting, and exercise.

In addition, Anthony and Vincent are both planning on producing more movies together moving forward.
